California police are searching for a teenage girl who has been missing for a month.
Seventeen-year-old Katherine Schneider of Saratoga, California, was last seen leaving her home on July 5. She was driving a white 2019 Honda Accord, according to a news release issued by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday.
Police describe Katherine as 5-foot, 5-inches and weighing around 115 pounds.
The sheriff's office didn't immediately respond to a request from USA TODAY about why Katherine's disappearance hasn't been publicized sooner.
The sheriff's office is asking anyone with information to contact them at 408-808-4500 or [email protected]. Anyone who would like to remain anonymous can call 408-808-4431.
